Everything you need to get up and running with SERPTide Leads.
Getting Started
SERPTide Leads helps you find high-intent buyers by monitoring social communities across Facebook groups, Reddit, Nextdoor, and more. Here is how to get started in under 5 minutes:
- Create your free account at serptideleads.com
- Install the SERPTide Leads Chrome extension (required for Facebook groups)
- Create a campaign with your target keywords
- Add groups to monitor (or let our discovery tool suggest them)
- Start receiving AI-scored leads in your dashboard
Installing the Extension
The SERPTide Leads Chrome extension is required for monitoring Facebook groups. It runs in the background and captures posts from the groups you have joined on Facebook.
- Open the Chrome Web Store and search for “SERPTide Leads”
- Click “Add to Chrome” and confirm the permissions
- Once installed, click the extension icon and sign in with your SERPTide Leads account
- The extension will start syncing automatically. You can verify it is connected from the Settings page in your dashboard
Note: Reddit and Nextdoor are monitored server-side, so no extension is needed for those platforms.
Creating Your First Campaign
Campaigns let you organize your monitoring by topic, product, or market segment. Each campaign has its own set of keywords and groups.
- Go to the Dashboard and click New Campaign
- Give your campaign a descriptive name (e.g., “CRM Software Leads”)
- Add your target keywords. These are the terms that indicate someone might be looking for your product or service
- Select or add groups to monitor. You can search for groups by topic or paste URLs directly
- Click Create Campaign and monitoring begins immediately
Setting Up Keywords
Keywords are the foundation of your lead detection. The better your keywords, the more relevant your leads will be.
Tips for effective keywords:
- Be specific – “looking for CRM” is better than just “CRM”
- Include buying signals – words like “recommend”, “budget”, “looking for”, “need help with”
- Add negative keywords – exclude terms that generate false positives (e.g., “free”, “joke”)
- Use variations – people phrase the same intent in different ways
The AI scoring layer provides an additional filter on top of keyword matching, so even broad keywords can still produce quality leads.
Managing Leads
Every detected lead appears in your dashboard with an AI-generated intent score (0-100), the original post content, and source information.
Lead statuses:
- New – freshly detected, not yet reviewed
- Working – you are actively engaging with this lead
- Qualified – confirmed as a genuine opportunity
- Closed – deal is done or lead is no longer relevant
Click any lead to open the detail drawer where you can view the full post, update the status, and see the AI reasoning behind the score.
Exporting Data
You can export your leads as a CSV file at any time. The export includes:
- Lead name and contact info
- Original post content
- AI intent score
- Current status
- Source group name, URL, and platform
- Detection date and time
Use the export to import leads into your CRM, email outreach tool, or spreadsheet for further analysis.
Email Alerts
SERPTide Leads can notify you by email whenever a high-intent lead is detected. You can configure alerts from the Settings page:
- High-intent alerts – immediate email when a lead scores 85 or above
- Daily digest – a summary of all new leads from the past 24 hours
- Weekly report – a weekly overview of your lead pipeline and trends
You can enable or disable each alert type independently. All alerts are sent to your registered email address.
